Internship, Bachelor, Master students
Starting from 2026, we can supervise internships, Bachelor's, and Master's theses for the students in the EU upon request.
Topics example:
- Synthesis of MOFs, COFs, or MOF–COF hybrid frameworks
- Impregnation of such frameworks with catalytically active metal ions

Students from outside Germany within EU can apply for the ERASMUS+ program to conduct internship, Bachelor's, or Master's study in our group. - IMPRS-CMS M.Sc. Scholarship
A fellowship to become a Master's student at the University of Stuttgart, including mentoring by our group, can be applied for at IMPRS-CMS.
PhD positions
Currently, no funded PhD position is available.
A German student or a student who completed their studies in Germany can apply for the FCI Kekulé-Stipendium to pursue a PhD in our group. Application will be assisted upon request.
Postdoc positions
Currently, no funded postdoc position is available.
Researchers from outside Germany can be hosted upon request with fellowships such as the Humboldt Research Fellowship, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship, or other fellowships specific to the country of origin. Applications will be assisted.
Working in our university may be subject to export control regulations and/or sanctions law. Hosting is therefore conditional upon the candidate’s eligibility for access to export-controlled information and, if necessary, the granting of any required permits or licenses by the relevant authorities.
